Terms of Use

By creating an account or using CrewNation, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the platform.

CrewNation is operated by The Crew Nation, PO Box 163, Energy, IL 62933 ("CrewNation", "we", "us"). CrewNation is a marketplace that connects Prime Contractors, Sub-Contractors/Crew Companies, Individual Skilled Laborers, and Vendors in the utility and infrastructure construction industry. CrewNation helps users find, evaluate, message, and hire one another — it is not a party to any agreement, contract, or project between users, and does not employ, supervise, or guarantee the work of any crew, worker, or contractor on the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use CrewNation.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Account types (Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor/Crew, Individual Skilled Laborer, and Vendor) determine which features are available to you; misrepresenting your account type to access features not intended for it is a violation of these terms. A Sub-Contractor/Crew account is organized by crew type: you choose your crew type when you sign up and can add more crew types to your profile later at no charge.

Company seats. A Prime Contractor company can have up to 10 seats and a Sub-Contractor/Crew company up to 5, the owner’s own seat included. Seats come at no extra charge; a company on an older plan that included more seats keeps them. Each seat is assigned to one or more of the company’s locations. The account owner decides who holds a seat and what role it has, and is responsible for everything done through the company’s seats.

Don’t post false or misleading information about your equipment, certifications, insurance, background checks, or work history.

Don’t use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or defraud other users.

Don’t attempt to circumvent verification, moderation, or billing systems.

Don’t scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated systems to access the platform beyond normal use, except for search engines indexing publicly available crew profile pages.

Equipment specs, insurance status, background-check status, and certifications shown on a profile are submitted by users and, where marked "Verified," reviewed by CrewNation staff against submitted documentation. A "Verified" badge reflects that a submission was reviewed — it is not a guarantee of a user’s work quality, licensure, or fitness for a specific job, and contractors, crews, and anyone hiring through the platform are responsible for their own independent diligence before hiring.

Insurance verification, where shown, reflects only that a certificate of insurance was submitted and reviewed (or parsed) as of the review date. It is not a confirmation with the insurer, and is not a guarantee that coverage is active, accurate, or remains in force; CrewNation does not monitor policies on an ongoing basis. Before relying on another user’s insurance, obtain a current certificate directly and, where appropriate, request to be named as an additional insured.

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, videos, documents) but grant CrewNation a license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the platform, including on public profile pages.

Featured Crews. CrewNation may feature crew profiles on the home page and in Find Crews. Featured placement is not for sale, and being featured is not an endorsement, rating, or ranking of a crew. Featured crews are picked by a randomized rotation that favors crews active on the platform and crews that joined recently. To be eligible, a crew needs an uploaded logo and a complete profile. Which crews are featured, and how often, is at CrewNation’s discretion, and we may change how the feature works or stop offering it.

Free plan. Creating an account and using the Free plan costs nothing. The Free plan has limits — for example, one active ad at a time — which are listed on our Pricing page.

CrewNation Pass. The CrewNation Pass is a one-time payment of $40 for 30 days of the paid features listed on our Pricing page, including unlimited ad postings. It does not renew automatically. Buying another Pass before yours ends adds 30 days from your current end date. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change; a change doesn’t affect a Pass you’ve already paid for.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we choose to issue a refund. If a Pass payment is fully refunded or reversed by a chargeback, that Pass ends, and any Pass stacked after it moves earlier by the time the refunded Pass had left.

Existing subscriptions. A monthly or annual subscription started before the CrewNation Pass keeps renewing until it is cancelled. You can cancel it from Billing at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.

2026 launch promotion. Accounts that redeemed the 2026 launch promotion keep free unlimited ad posting through December 31, 2026, and are not charged when that free period ends.

Any agreement to perform work, hire, or be hired — whether through a posted Project, a Position Posting, an ad, or a direct message — is solely between the users involved. CrewNation is not responsible for the performance, payment, safety, or legality of work arranged through the platform, and is not a party to those agreements.

Disputes between users (non-payment, work quality, no-shows, etc.) should be resolved directly between the parties. CrewNation may, at its discretion, assist by providing records of platform activity but is under no obligation to mediate.

You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false verification information, or pose a safety or legal risk to other users.

CrewNation is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any project or hire will result from using it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrewNation is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from the conduct of other users — including disputes, unpaid work, project delays, or safety incidents on jobs arranged through the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CrewNation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves, and we’ll post each new version here with its effective date. When we make a material change, we’ll notify you in the app and ask you to accept the updated terms; if you don’t accept, you can’t continue using the signed-in service. You can still read these documents, sign out, and contact us.
