On the diesel HX trailers the number tracks horsepower class and a 'G' marks gas power; on the Warlock trucks it matches the debris tank in cubic yards (8 on the W8, 12 on the W12), and on the Mud Vacs it matches tank size (800 gallons on the MV8, 1,200 on the MV12).
