Bobcat Mini Excavator Models

Tail-swing type varies across Bobcat's compact excavators: Bobcat describes the E20 and E35 as zero tail swing and the E27 as conventional tail swing. In 2023 Bobcat renamed several North American models — the E42 became the E48 and the E50 became the E55 — saying the new numbers better reflect each machine's capability within its size class.
