The OSP project manager owns the build between the design and the invoice — scheduling crews, clearing permits and make-ready, tracking production against a line-item schedule, and answering to the prime or the operator when a date moves. Contractors hire on experience running fiber and coax builds at scale, comfort with production tracking, and the ability to hold a schedule with subs.
